After the Battlehawks saw Michael Barrett link up with Jesse Minter in Baltimore, another member of the team received an opportunity to showcase their skillset in a final preseason game. With the Bills dealing with plenty of injuries at Center to starting Center Connor McGovern and reserve Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, Battlehawks interior offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth is making his way up to Buffalo.
Haynesworth came out of Tulane as a UDFA to the New Orleans Saints in 2024, while also being drafted by the San Antonio Brahmas as well. He'd bounce around between the Saints and Patriots in 2024, before signing with the Cardinals in 2025. After being released at the conclusion of training camp, Haynesworth would sign with the Battlehawks joining his former college quarterback Michael Pratt at that time.
Haynesworth would serve as a versatile option between guard and center, appearing in 10 games, starting 6. He would earn some of PFF's highest grades for interior offensive lineman, while also serving as a stabilizing presence for the Battlehawks offense, which remained inconsistent in 2026 at times.
Haynesworth became the 73rd player to earn an NFL contract this signing cycle, as the UFL has surpassed its 2025 total. Haynesworth also is the sixth Battlehawk to earn contract this signing cycle as well. The Bills are set to take on the Steelers tomorrow for their final preseason matchup before the regular season.
