Battlehawks return WR Thayer Thomas after injury to RB Rahjai Harris

Upon the injury to Battlehawks running back Rahjai Harris, St. Louis has brought back Thayer Thomas to round out their roster ahead of week four. Thomas returns to St. Louis after being released on March 10th, in favor of Gary Jennings Jr. who was partaking in Amazon's "Beast Games".

Thomas spent six seasons at NC State totaling almost 2,500 receiving yards, in addition to providing value as a punt returner. Thomas, would then go on to spend 2.5 seasons on NFL practice squads with the Broncos and Vikings earning approx. 650k per spotrac.

The acquisition of Thomas could be a high upside signing with the anemic outputs of Battlehawks wide receiver room. Outside of Hakeem Butler, the unit has performed rather poorly, struggling with drops. Combined with his ability to contribute on special teams, Thomas may find himself on the Battlehawks active roster sooner rather than later.

Thomas and the Battlehawks are set to take on the D.C. Defenders this Saturday at 12:30 ET, hoping to extend their winning streak to two at Audi Field.
