Defensive Back and All-UFL Punt Returner Sean Fresch earns contract with the Denver Broncos

As UFL workouts and signings continue the St. Louis Battlehawks have seen their second player earn an NFL contract. In his second season in the UFL the Battlehawks will see All-UFL Punt Returner/Defensive Back Sean Fresch sign with the Denver Broncos joining Hakeem Butler.

Fresch was signed by the San Antonio Brahmas in 2025, after receiving little to no interest coming out of Rice in 2025. He'd join the St. Louis Battlehawks in 2026, becoming one of the Corey Chamblin's most elite defenders this season, while also leading the league in punt return yards this past season. Fresch earned All-UFL honors in his second UFL season, recording 33 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 341 punt return yards, and 58 kick return yards.

Fresch will join a Denver Broncos team that currently rosters his teammate Hakeem Butler, along with LS Mitch Fraboni, and Defensive Lineman Dondrea Tillman both of which are impact players with spring football ties. As the UFL goes into its 2nd day of the offseason, the league has seen four players earn contracts with, over 25 players earning workouts.
