LOUISVILLE KINGS at HOUSTON GAMBLERS
Thursday, April 16 | 8:00 PM EDT | Shell Energy Stadium, Houston, TX | NFLN
The 0-3 Louisville Kings travel to face the 1-2 Houston Gamblers in a Thursday night matchup between two teams looking to get back on track. Louisville looked great offensively last week as they were the only team to have over 400 yards, as Jason Bean threw for 352 yards and 3 touchdowns. Houston is coming off a tough loss of over 30 points and needs to bounce back for their home fans. According to the depth chart, quarterback Nolan Henderson is starting for Houston after missing week 3 with an apparent finger injury on his throwing hand, sustained in week 2.
Writer's Pick: 100% Louisville Kings
DALLAS RENEGADES at COLUMBUS AVIATORS
Friday, April 17 | 8:00 PM EDT | Historic Crew Stadium, Columbus, OH | FOX
The 3-0 Dallas Renegades visit the 0-3 Columbus Aviators. Dallas has looked like the league’s most complete team for the first 2 weeks until Columbus gave them a run for their money in a close 28-23 game that saw Dallas win at home. Columbus will get another shot to defeat the Renegades this time at home. Austin Reed and Tyler Vaughns are leading a high-powered offense for Dallas, but had a down week last week against a well-performing Aviators defense.
Writer's Pick: 87.5% Dallas Renegades
ST. LOUIS BATTLEHAWKS at DC DEFENDERS
Saturday, April 18 | 12:30 PM EDT | Audi Field, Washington, DC | ABC
The 2-1 St. Louis Battlehawks head to Audi Field to face the 2-1 defending champion DC Defenders in what should be one of the better games of the weekend. St. Louis is coming off a close win at home to Birmingham, 34-30, that saw fantastic play from their pass rush but some room for improvement in the passing game. DC is coming off a 45-7 clobbering of Houston and will look to win another for their home fans.
Writer's Pick: 87.5% DC Defenders
ORLANDO STORM at BIRMINGHAM STALLIONS
Saturday, April 18 | 4:00 PM EDT | Protective Stadium, Birmingham, AL | FOX
The 2-1 Birmingham Stallions have lost both of their last 2 games by 1 score or more and will now host the undefeated Orlando Storm. Birmingham will have a tough challenge of improving their offensive line play against a very good defense after struggling last week. With quarterbacks Jack Plummer for Orlando and Matt Corral for Birmingham, we have the potential for a shootout for the last game of the week.
