UFL Surpasses 50 NFL Signings From 2026 Rosters With Arizona Cardinals Additions of TE Baylor Cupp and RB Tre Stewart

ARLINGTON, Texas (August 15, 2026) – Dallas Renegades tight end Baylor Cupp and Orlando Storm running back Tre Stewart have signed with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, the team announced today. The signings bring the total number of 2026 UFL players who have earned NFL contracts to 51.

Since August 1, 47 UFL players have signed with or worked out for NFL teams, participating in a combined 57 NFL workouts during that span. Overall, 83 UFL alumni are currently under contract with NFL teams and participating in NFL training camps, continuing the league's role as a development pathway for professional football players.

Cupp (6-6, 243, Texas Tech) appeared in nine games for the Renegades in 2026, recording eight receptions for 73 yards, including a 20-yard reception. He joins the Cardinals following his first season in the UFL.

Cupp entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024 after completing his collegiate career at Texas Tech. He spent the 2024 season on the Chiefs practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for one game. He later signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2025 before joining the Dallas Renegades for the 2026 UFL season.

A native of Brock, Texas, Cupp began his collegiate career at Texas A&M before transferring to Texas Tech. In two seasons with the Red Raiders, he caught 23 passes for 246 yards and four touchdowns in 24 games.

Stewart (5-10, 192, Jacksonville State) appeared in five games for Orlando during the 2026 UFL season, carrying 28 times for 108 yards while adding four receptions for 27 yards. He previously spent the 2025 preseason with the Minnesota Vikings, where he rushed for 32 yards on eight carries and added three receptions for nine yards in three preseason games.

Stewart began his collegiate career at Division II Limestone, where he rushed for 2,978 yards and 24 touchdowns in three seasons before transferring to Jacksonville State for his senior season. In 2024, he rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 25 touchdowns for the Gamecocks, earning first-team All-Conference USA honors.
