ARLINGTON, TX (August 26, 2026) – Four more players from the 2026 United Football League season have signed NFL contracts, with DC Defenders defensive end Derek Parish joining the Houston Texans, Houston Gamblers defensive lineman Israel Antwine signing with the Denver Broncos, and St. Louis Battlehawks linebacker Michael Barrett joining the Baltimore Ravens and offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth signing with the Buffalo Bills.
The additions bring the total number of players from the 2026 UFL season who have signed NFL contracts to 77, while the overall number of UFL alumni currently active in NFL training camps reaches 111.
LB Derek Parish | DC Defenders → Houston Texans
Parish (6-1, 241, Houston) played in all 10 regular season games for the DC Defenders in 2026 recording 34 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, and one forced fumble. He also added six tackles in the postseason.
Parish was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. He spent part of the 2023 season with Jacksonville before joining the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Parish played two seasons in Toronto, appearing in 34 games and recording 53 defensive tackles and 11.0 sacks before joining the Defenders.
A six-year player at Houston, Parish appeared in 47 games and recorded 140 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 14 sacks. He earned second-team All-American Athletic Conference honors in 2021 after posting 56 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks.
DT Israel Antwine | Houston Gamblers → Denver Broncos
Antwine (6-3, 327, Oklahoma State) played in all 10 regular season games for the 2026 Houston Gamblers, starting one and recording 16 tackles.
Antwine signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. He later spent time with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League and the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League before joining the Houston Roughnecks in 2025.
Antwine began his collegiate career at Colorado, where he started 11 of 12 games as a true freshman in 2018, before transferring to Oklahoma State. He played three seasons for the Cowboys, appearing in 34 games and totaling 65 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and six sacks. He was named honorable mention All-Big 12 by the conference's coaches in 2019 and earned second-team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2021.
LB Michael Barrett | St. Louis Battlehawks → Baltimore Ravens
Barrett (5-11, 232, Michigan) played in seven games for the 2026 St. Louis Battlehawks, recording 13 tackles and 1.0 sack while starting two games. He also contributed a special teams tackle during the postseason.
Barrett was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He spent time with the Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders before joining the Battlehawks.
A six-year player at Michigan, Barrett appeared in 63 games and was part of three consecutive Big Ten championship teams before helping the Wolverines win the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship. He earned third-team All-Big Ten honors in both 2022 and 2023.
OL Sincere Haynesworth | St. Louis Battlehawks → Buffalo Bills
Haynesworth (6-1, 300, Tulane) played all 10 regular-season games for the 2026 St. Louis Battlehawks, starting the final six. Listed as a center, Haynesworth provided versatility along the interior of the offensive line, seeing action at both left and right guard. He stepped into the starting lineup at center as a last-minute injury replacement in the Battlehawks postseason game.
Haynesworth originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals, including three preseason appearances with Arizona in 2025.
A five-year player at Tulane, Haynesworth played 59 games for the Green Wave and earned first-team All-American Athletic Conference honors in 2022 and 2023 after previously receiving second-team recognition in 2020. He helped Tulane win the 2023 Cotton Bowl and was named the College Football Network’s 2023 American Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year.
