As NFL rosters are temporarily set at 53, NFL teams are able to now begin adding to their practice squads for the 2026 season.
With over 80 players with spring football ties now "free agents", multiple alumni can sign with the 16-man practice squad NFL teams are allowed.
Currently over 25 players with spring football ties dating back to 2019 (AAF) are either on the active roster, or injured reserve.
