Each week, this list highlights former UFL talents who made a big impact and contributed to their team's victory. This week, there were several superior performances, including a pair of elite talents who contributed to a huge upset victory for their team.

UFL To NFL: Week 4 Top 5 Standout Players

Number 5: Brandon Aubrey, Dallas Cowboys Kicker (Birmingham Stallions)

The Houston Texans were favored by three points ahead of the contest against the Dallas Cowboys, but a stellar performance from All-Pro wide receiver Cee Dee Lamb led to a stunning 34-30 victory. Lamb posted 17 receptions for 189 yards with one touchdown.

While it wasn’t Brandon Aubrey’s best week, the three-time Pro Bowler still managed to contribute to the Cowboys’ upset with two of four field goals, including a 50-yarder, and all four extra points. He missed a 65-yard field goal, and another kick was blocked.

Number 4: Jake Bates, Detroit Lions Kicker (Michigan Panthers)

Jake Bates was one of the bright spots for the Lions in their ugly 32-26 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night. He connected on all four field goals, including a 54-yarder, and provided both extra points. To date, Bates is perfect this season with 7/7 field goals and 14/14 extra points.

Number 3: Jalen Redmond, Minnesota Vikings DT (Arlington Renegades)

Now in his third season with the Vikings, Jalen Redmond has cemented his role in Minnesota’s number-one-ranked defense. Under the guidance of defense guru, DC Brian Flores, the 4-0 Vikings are atop the leader board this season, allowing an average of 12.8 points per game to opposing offenses. Minnesota’s stifling defense has only given up 22.6% of the third-down conversions and holds an impressive QB pressures rate of 45.5%.

Redmond had a fairly quiet outing on Sunday but contributed 2 tackles, including one solo. His PFF.com grade is an impressive 73.9 on 200 snaps with 10 solo tackles, 9 QB pressures, two pass defenses, and a forced fumble.

Number 2: Andre Szmyt, Cleveland Browns kicker (St. Louis Battlehawks)

The Cleveland Browns are first in the AFC North. With a 3-1 record, the team is off to its best start in recent years, and they owe their success in large part to their talented kicker Andre Szmyt. He kicked a 56-yard game-winner this past week to notch a 27-24 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. This season, Szmyt has connected on all eight field goal attempts and nailed 31 of 31 extra points.

Number 1: KaVontae Turpin, Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver and Return Specialist (USFL New Jersey Generals)

When it comes to NFL return specialists, no one does it better than the Cowboys' 5th-year talent KaVontae Turpin. Currently, the NFL's highest-paid special teamer after signing an $18 million three-year contract extension in March of $2025, Turpin has become an all-purpose utility weapon for the Cowboys. This week, he recorded five kick returns for 147 yards and 5 punt returns for 47 yards, with a 16-yard return as his longest.

Honorable Mention: Ameer Speed, cornerback, Dallas Cowboys (Houston Gamblers)

As one of only two UFL 2026 stars to make NFL rosters out of training camp this season, it’s worth highlighting that Ameer Speed made his NFL debut. He produced one solo tackle and one assisted tackle while being instrumental in assisting his teammate Dee Winters on a crucial pass breakup late in the game.

Check back here next week to find out which UFL to NFL stars were the standout players for their team.
