With St. Louis going into the midway point of the 2026 UFL season, they enter a week that is a must win against the 4-0 Orlando Storm. While the team still searches for a rhythm on offense, the team traded for veteran quarterback Luis Perez however, still opting to start Harrison Frost for their upcoming matchup.
On the other side, you have former Battlehawks HC Anthony Becht has the Storm as the UFL's top team as he takes on his old squad. Becht has five former Battlehawk coaches and 8 former Battlehawk players on his sideline this year.

What to Watch for: St. Louis Battlehawks
Can St. Louis have true rhythm on offense. While there has been regression on the defense, the Battlehawks offense continues to remain their Achilles heel moving forward. Now going into Harrison Frost's 2nd start, the Battlehawks have failed to put together consistent offensive drives, often relying on a "boom" or "bust" output.
The offense has relied heavily on Hakeem Butler's big play ability, as the UFL's most polarizing receiver has amassed over 31 yards per reception through three appearances. It's also worth noting if St. Louis makes a commitment to the run, as despite rushing for over 80 yards in week four, Jarveon Howard has mostly been limited on his attempts.
Defensively I'll be curious to see what Corey Chamblin cooks up for a conservative but consistent Orlando Storm offense. Jordan Mosley, Jordan Williams, and Sean Fresch have all been standouts however, the play from the defensive line after a seven-sack explosion has been sporadic. It's worth noting that 2025 All-UFL/DPOY Pita Taumoepenu hasn't recorded a sack since week one.
What to Watch for: Orlando Storm
I have felt that the Storm have been the most fun team to watch, because while they don't "wow", they have consistently played solid, complimentary football throughout the first four weeks of the season. Jack Plummer is doing his best 2015 Alex Smith impression, while EDGE rushers Keshawn Banks, and Chris Garrett have proven to be the UFL's premiere pass rushing duo.
The Storm have a stable of receivers that have continued to compliment each other despite dealing with injuries, along with Jashaun Corbin whose been a work horse for the league's only undefeated team. What I find extremely impressive is that both Anthony Becht and his offensive play caller Colin Thompson have yet to unleash their tight ends with both of them being former NFL veterans at the position.
The Storm are clicking on all cylinders and should continue to stay on course with what has worked for them this season.
Battlehawks-Storm Prediction
It may be the tale of two opposites in this matchup. The Battlehawks who have been extremely erratic compared to the consistent Orlando Storm. With the Storm constantly establishing a balanced attack, while playing strong defense, I don't see the Battlehawks being able to compete with Orlando especially with Harrison Frost leading the offense. The Storm remain perfect in this one, cruising to 5-0, with St. Louis inevitably preparing for the Spring King to transition to the starting role in the back half of the season.
Storm 28, Battlehawks 13
