Battlehawks make two roster moves prior to week 10 matchup against the Dallas Renegades

With the Battlehawks set to begin their postseason run for their hopes of the first championship in franchise history, the team made two adjustments to the roster prior to their week 10 matchup against the Dallas Renegades. The team announced that they have released 2nd year player Ryan Coll, while placing veteran defensive back Luq Barcoo on injured reserve.

Barcoo joins an already depleted secondary, that has been oft-injured throughout the last couple of weeks. Per the injury report, the Battlehawks will be with Daniel Isom, A.J. Thomas, Nevelle Clarke, and now Barcoo who joins Kameron Kelly on injured reserve. Barcoo has been in the professional circuit since 2020, earning All-XFL honors in 2023 with the San Antonio Brahmas, spending the last the three NFL seasons with the Steelers, Cowboys, and Detroit Lions.

Ryan Coll is now released after appearing on the injury report last week with an "other" designation. Coll originally opened the season as the Battlehawks starter, however has found himself losing playing time to Sincere Haynesworth. Haynesworth has emerged as one of the Battlehawks best offensive lineman, and with the team signing Abdul Beecham, Coll seems to be on the outside looking in, during his second season with St. Louis.

The Battlehawks roster currently sits at 48 players going into week 10. With the team the getting set for a playoff run, and shorthanded in the secondary it wouldn't come off as a shock to see them add some depth in the back half of their defense. The Battlehawks are set to finish their season at the "Dome" against the Dallas Renegades for their final matchup of the season.
