Battlehawks set to lose Tyler Neville for remainder of season

As the Battlehawks prepare for a possible playoff push, they'll go into week nine without one of their key contributors on offense. Tyler Neville, who left their week eight matchup against the Houston Gamblers with a lower body injury is confirmed to be "done" for the season per Head Coach Ricky Proehl.

Per Proehl, Neville suffered a Lisfranc injury to his foot and will miss the team's remaining games. Neville has been a consistent force at the Tight End position so far this season, recording 13 receptions for 125 yards and four touchdowns.

Neville came out of the University of Virginia in 2025, after beginning his career at Harvard. He put together a career of recording over 1,000 receiving yards through four collegiate seasons while as dealing with cancer during his time in school. Neville would earn a UDFA opportunity with the Dallas Cowboys before being waived during final cuts.

Neville's injury is set to refocus the Battlehawks current standing at the Tight End position. Currently, James Bostic is the Battlehawks TE2, who missed their week eight matchup due to a shoulder injury. St. Louis is scheduled to take on the Gamblers this Sunday at 7pm (ET), in hopes of earning a playoff berth for the third consecutive season.
