As the Battlehawks prepare for their seventh game of the season, the team decided to bring back a familiar face to the offensive line. The Battlehawks have brought back Abdul Beecham for the remainder of the 2026 season, as the team prepares for their playoff push.
Beecham has spent the last several years among the spring football circuit. After coming out of Kansas State in 2019, Beecham had stints with the Rams and Chiefs. He'd pivot to the Spring League, before joining the USFL's Pittsburgh Maulers in 2022. In 2023, he'd spend time with the XFL's Orlando Guardians before "surviving" the USFL-XFL merger, joining St. Louis from 2024 to 2025.
Beecham would be drafted by the Dallas Renegades in 2026, being waived by the team during final cuts in training camp. Beecham has appeared in over 30 plus games in his spring football career, giving the Battlehawks a proven veteran during the final stretch of the season.
The Battlehawks are scheduled to take on the Columbus Aviators prior on Friday May 8th, for their week seven matchup at home.
