Battlehawks sign two players ahead of playoff game against Louisville Kings

With the Battlehawks preparing for their 2026 playoff matchup against the Louisville Kings, the team signed two players to fill out their roster for the final part of the season. After dealing with injuries in the secondary, and releasing offensive lineman Ryan Coll, the team brought in reinforcements at both positions to supplement the roster.

St. Louis signed spring league veteran Adonis Alexander and 2026 NFL draft eligible offensive Que McBroom on Monday, in an effort to add depth. Alexander has been in the spring football circuit since 2022 after four seasons on and off NFL rosters from 2018 to 2021. Alexander spent time with the New Orleans Breakers (22-23), Michigan Panthers (24-25), before spending part of this spring with the B.C. Lions of the CFL only to be released during final cuts. He's appeared in over 30 spring football games across four seasons, recording 83 tackles and 3 interceptions in four spring football season.

St. Louis also signed rookie offensive lineman Que McBroom to replace Ryan Coll for their playoff matchup. McBroom was a 2026 NFL draft eligible player who played his final collegiate season at ULM prior to his professional career. He also was a member of the IFL's Orlando Pirates prior to his time to the Battlehawks. McBroom also has ties to the St. Louis area, playing his High School football at St. Mary's the same school that produced Yogi Berra, and current NFL wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr.

The Battlehawks roster now sits at 50 players going into their matchup against the Louisville Kings. The Battlehawks defeated the Kings earlier in the season 16-3 in the first matchup between the franchises. St. Louis has made the playoffs for the past two seasons, losing both matchups.
