History has been made in the UFL, and this time it's by Louisville Kings Kicker Tanner Brown. In a must win game for the Kings, Brown has rewritten the UFL record books now sitting atop as the lone kicker for field goals made in a season. Brown has now surpassed 2025 Renegade Lucas Havrisik with now 23 field goals made in season. Havrisik previously held the record with 22 field goals made last season, on 25 attempts enroute to an NFL opportunity with the Green Bay Packers.
Brown has been easily the UFL's premiere kicker in 2026, in a year that several would consider a "down year" for the league's most successful position. He currently leads the league in attempts, field goals made, is 2nd in accuracy, trailing only Tucker McCann, who is 10/11 and hasn't kicked in several weeks due to injury.
Brown per our research is also tied with former Philadelphia Stars Kicker Luis Aguilar who in 2023 converted 25/29 field goals in the USFL, which would be the most since 2001 dating back to the original XFL. For Brown a successful 2026 campaign should assist him in returning back to NFL action. Currently rostered kickers with spring football ties are Brandon Aubrey (22-23 Birmingham Stallions), Nick Folk (19'AAF Hotshots), Andre Szmyt (24' Battlehawks), Jake Bates (24' Michigan Panthers), Andrew Mevis (25' Stallions), and Havrisik.
Brown finished the Kings week nine matchup going 3 for 3 including making both extra point attempts. The Kings are set to take on the Columbus Aviators in week ten for the final matchup of the 2026 UFL season. The Kings will have to win their final matchup in hopes of earning a spot in the playoffs after their 37-23 victory eliminating the Dallas Renegades.
