The UFL got off to a slow start at the gate in its kickoff weekend. However, in Week 2, a new high for Michigan, an increase in DC, and the league's typical boost from St. Louis saw the UFL's attendance figures bounce back.
UFL 2025 Week 2 Attendance Figures
Friday night's 4/4 Michigan Panthers home opener at Ford Field against the Birmingham Stallions had an attendance figure of 10,049, surpassing last year's team high of 9,444.
Saturday night's DC Defenders game against the Memphis Showboats had an attendance figure of 13,142- up from last week's home opener at Audi Field (12,254). A season ago, DC averaged 14,143 in attendance.
The attendance figure for Sunday's 11 a.m. local time showdown between the Houston Roughnecks and Arlington Renegades at Choctaw Stadium was 9,582. This was down from Week 1's tally of 10,117. The Renegades' home attendance average in 2024 was 9,887.
Sunday night's return to the Dome for the St. Louis Battlehawks in an XFL conference championship rematch with the San Antonio Brahmas had an attendance figure of 32,115. Last season, St. Louis averaged 34,365 fans per home game.
The Week 2 average for UFL attendance is 16,222. Week 1's average was 8,446. The current season average after two weeks is 12,344.
In Week 3, Birmingham will kick things off Friday night with its home opener at Protective Stadium against 2-0 Arlington. After drawing the worst-reported crowd (non-COVID/Hub) of the modern spring pro football era (4,373), Memphis returns home at Liberty Bank against equally winless Houston. The Panthers and Battlehawks will be back home on Sunday. Michigan hosts San Antonio at noon ET. The Hawks will host DC at 2 pm CT at the Dome.
