Arlington, TX (September 16, 2026) – The United Football League announced today that fresh off a United Bowl championship in their inaugural year, the Louisville Kings and their fans have been rewarded with a home game at Lynn Family Stadium to kick off the UFL’s 2027 season. The game will take place on March 26 at 8 p.m. ET and air nationally on FOX, launching the third year of FOX UFL Friday - a dedicated night of UFL action taking place each Friday during the 10-week UFL regular season.
After opening their maiden 2026 campaign with three straight losses, the Kings stormed back, winning six of their final seven contests, capped by a four-game winning streak to close the regular season with a 6-4 record. They defeated the St. Louis Battlehawks on the road in the playoffs, and subsequently rallied against the DC Defenders in the United Bowl championship in front of a raucous crowd at Audi Field earning a 27-20 victory. The team garnered several top player awards, including DE Cam Gill (Defensive Player of the Year), K Tanner Brown (Special Teams Player of the Year) and RB Ian Wheeler (United Bowl MVP). The Kings ultimately saw 18 players from their 2026 roster earn NFL Training Camp opportunities with three of those players, including DB Deantre Prince (Chicago Bears), WR Lucky Jackson (Detroit Lions), and CB Bryce Hall (Houston Texans) sticking on NFL practice squads.
Season tickets for the Kings will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, September 17 here with ticket packages starting as low as $75 for all five home games at Lynn Family Stadium.
