As week three is now complete, the UFL saw 12 quarterbacks take the field, a new QB controversy/battle, and a last second start with a team down to their third starter. As the league is now beginning to take shape in my opinion, two quarterbacks have established themselves as high end starters for the 2026, with the rest of the league continuing to "figure it out".

12. Mike DiLiello D.C. Defenders
2 rush -1 yard 0 TD
Week Three Ranking: N/A
DiLiello made his first appearance of the 2026 season playing the final four offensive plays of D.C. 's victory against Houston. DiLiello ran for one yard on his first carry, and took a knee to end the game.
11. Jalen Morton Columbus Aviators
1 rush 4 yards 0 TD
Week Three Ranking: #12
Morton made a nice cameo for a first down in Sunday’s game. Morton had one rush for 4 yards running behind Toa Taua in his second appearance of the game.
10. Chandler Rogers Louisville Kings
1/1 8yds 0 TD 0 INT 1 rush 12yds 0 TD
Week Three Ranking: #8
A lower body injury to Jason Bean didn’t stop the Kings offense when Rogers entered. The Kings backup completed his lone pass after a heavy workload in week two.
9. Taulia Tagovailoa Houston Gamblers

Week Three Ranking: N/A
It was an extremely rocky performance for Tagovailoa who was thrust into action despite being on the team for less than a month as QB3. While I don’t think the former Maryland QB has much upside, he was able to use his athleticism in a way to make plays happen, despite breakdowns in the pocket. Overall, the Gamblers are an extremely volatile team right now through the first 3 weeks of the season, and will have to find some stability at the QB position in order to have any success moving forward.
8. Brandon Silvers St. Louis Battlehawks

Week Three Ranking: #4
With St. Louis riding the hot hand, Silvers may be on the back burner right now as the team heads into week four. Silvers’ couldn’t get comfortable between the Stallons pass rush and lack of continuity overall forced him to the bench by the end of the second quarter.
7. Matt Corral Birmingham Stallions

Week Three Ranking: #2
Same consecutive story for Corral in week three. Despite fighting back an early 10-0 deficit, Corral easily "threw" the game away once more, late in the second half. Corral, hasn't been able to find consistency the first three weeks, and needs to play with more confidence moving forward if he wants to lead this Stallion team.
6. Harrison Frost St. Louis Battlehawks

Week Three Ranking: N/A
The highest of highs and lowest of lows, in regards to the performance of Harrison Frost. While the end result is what Frost and the Battlehawks wanted, there are too many glaring holes on this offense to fully get invested in this team for a deep run this season. Frost was extremely erratic and even the plays he made left a bit to be desired, however it does look like he’ll have an opportunity for one more week to prove he’s the long term option in St. Louis.

5. Jalan McClendon Columbus Aviators

Week Two Ranking: #6
An erratic performance during unpredictable circumstances was the difference in an Aviators loss this week. Columbus, who seems to have the pieces, has continued to fall short of expectations, and it starts with the inconsistency of McClendon. Moving into week four McClendon will have another opportunity to face this Renegades defense, and with a cleaner performance could find a way to “shock” Dallas.
4. Jordan Ta’amu D.C. Defenders

Week Three Ranking: #4
Ta’amu continues his slow start in 2026, however great defense, and a 163-yard performance on the ground have allowed the Defenders to win two in a row. Ta’amu may not be having the success downfield that he has in years past, however he continues to put the Defenders in a position to win by playing complimentary football.
3. Jason Bean Louisville Kings

Week Three Ranking: #11
After an underwhelming week two, Bean bounced back with an all-time great performance against the Orlando Storm. Despite getting beat up all day, Bean consistently was able to spread the ball around, including Tight End’s Zach Davidson and Tre McKitty with the tandem accounting for over 120 receiving yards. While Louisville has had some bad luck, the team is extremely competitive under Bean’s leadership.
2. Jack Plummer Orlando Storm
21/30 250yds 3 TD 0 INT 4 rush 17 yds 0 TD
Week Three Ranking: #2
Plummer could have pushed for the top spot this week if it wasn’t for an ill-advised interception in the red-zone. Regardless, Plummer made a lot of efficient plays, moved well in the pocket while also finding his play-makers. Right now, Plummer is in serious conversation for being a 2,000 yard passer and is doing a decent job of raising his interest at the NFL level.
1. Austin Reed Dallas Renegades
18/30 147yds 2 TD 0 INT 2 rush 3 yds 0 TD
Week Three Ranking: #1
While it wasn’t another “bombardment” Reed still managed to throw for two scores, effectively leading the Renegades offense to a 3-0 record. While Orlando’s Jack Plummer or Louisville's Jason Bean may have been more dynamic, Reed continues to master his gameplan, which should be a bit more open this Friday for round two against Columbus.
