ARLINGTON, TX (August 17, 2026) – It was announced today that six defensive players from the 2026 UFL season have signed NFL contracts, highlighted by four defensive backs who spent time with the Louisville Kings, including All-UFL defensive back selection Corey Mayfield who joins the Tennessee Titans, and fellow defensive backs Bryce Hall who joined the Houston Texans, Isaiah Bolden who is headed to the Philadelphia Eagles, and Deantre Prince who was added by the Chicago Bears. Additionally, DC Defenders defensive back Ekow Boye-Doe signed with the Detroit Lions and Houston Gamblers defensive end Kenny Dyson joined the Minnesota Vikings.
With the four players signed today, the Kings have now contributed 12 players to NFL rosters since the conclusion of their inaugural season in the UFL. The signings also increase the overall number of UFL alumni in NFL training camps to 92.
DB Corey Mayfield | Louisville Kings → Tennessee Titans
An All-UFL honoree, Mayfield (5-10, 200, UTSA) appeared in nine regular season games with the Kings, recording 27 tackles, six pass breakups, four interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He added 11 tackles, including 1.0 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble.
Mayfield spent his first two seasons in the UFL with the San Antonio Brahmas, playing in 20 games and collecting 42 tackles over 2024-25.
A five-year player at UTSA, Mayfield appeared in 63 games and finished his collegiate career with seven interceptions and five sacks. He earned honorable mention All-Conference USA honors in 2020 and 2021 before being named First-Team All-Conference USA in 2022 after recording 63 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks and three interceptions.
DB Bryce Hall | Louisville Kings → Houston Texans
In eight regular season games with the Louisville Kings, Hall (6-1, 200, Virginia) recorded 14 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery, and one interception he returned for a 83-yard touchdown in helping the team to a United Bowl championship.
Hall entered the NFL as a fifth-round selection (158th overall) by the New York Jets in the 2020 NFL Draft. “The Hall Monitor” spent five seasons in the NFL with the Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, appearing in 40 games with 26 starts and recording 122 tackles, 21 passes defensed, two interceptions and 0.5 sacks. In 2021, Hall started all 17 games for New York and recorded 79 tackles and 16 passes defensed.
A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hall played four seasons at Virginia, appearing in 43 games with 38 starts. He finished his collegiate career with 154 tackles, 4.0 sacks, five interceptions and 22 passes defensed. Hall earned second-team All-America honors as a junior in 2018 after leading the nation with 22 passes defensed.
DB Isaiah Bolden | Louisville Kings → Philadelphia Eagles
Active in four games this season, Bolden (6-4, 201, Jackson State) did not record any statistics with the Kings. Selected in the seventh round (245th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft by New England, Bolden appeared in 14 games for the Patriots, making seven tackles and a fumble recovery. He later spent part of the 2025 season on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad.
Bolden spent his first two college seasons at Florida State, where he appeared in 14 games and collected nine tackles and an interception. He transferred to Jackson State and finished with 55 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, one fumble recovery. Bolden also returned 26 kickoffs for 851 yards and a pair of touchdowns and had eight punt returns for an additional 130 yards in 26 games.
DB Deantre Prince | Louisville Kings → Chicago Bears
Prince (6-0, 184, Ole Miss) played in six games for the 2026 Louisville Kings, recording 13 tackles, including 11 solo, 1.0 tackle for loss, five pass breakups, and one interception he returned for 54 yards.
Prince was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round (153rd overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He appeared in four games as a rookie, recording eight tackles and one pass breakup, before spending the 2025 season with Jacksonville.
A native of Charleston, Mississippi, Prince began his collegiate career at Ole Miss before spending one season at Northeast Mississippi Community College. He returned to Ole Miss and became a three-year starter for the Rebels, finishing his career with 146 tackles, 27 pass breakups and six interceptions.
DB Ekow Boye-Doe | DC Defenders → Detroit Lions
Boye-Doe (5-11, 177, Kansas State) appeared in nine games for the DC Defenders during the 2026 UFL season, recording 13 tackles and four pass breakups, contributing on both defense and special teams.
Boye-Doe entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023 following a rookie minicamp tryout. He appeared in six games for Kansas City during the 2023 season and was part of the Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII championship team. He also spent time with the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals before joining the Defenders.
A native of Accra, Ghana, Boye-Doe played four seasons at Kansas State, appearing in 42 games with 35 starts. He finished his collegiate career with 74 tackles, three tackles for loss, one forced fumble and 14 passes defensed. As a senior in 2022, he recorded 26 tackles and five passes defensed while helping Kansas State reach the Big 12 Championship Game.
DE Kenny Dyson | Houston Gamblers → Minnesota Vikings
Dyson (6-3, 244, Bryant) signed with the Minnesota Vikings after making an impact on the Houston Gamblers defensive front during the 2026 UFL season. He appeared in all 10 games, recording 27 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
Dyson signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. He spent the 2024 season on Carolina's practice squad and was elevated for the Panthers game against Kansas City, appearing on eight defensive snaps. He later signed a futures contract with the Panthers before being released in May 2025. Dyson joined the Houston Gamblers in February 2026.
A five-year player at Bryant University, Dyson appeared in 44 games and finished his collegiate career with 104 tackles, 24.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. He earned First-Team All-Big South honors in 2022 and 2023 and was named Second-Team All-NEC in 2021.
