In what some "casuals" may consider a meaningless game, the truth of it is that in the UFL there are no meaningless games as each player is hoping for a chance at playing in the NFL. However, week 10 for the Battlehawks has little no playoff implications moving forward, other than personal pride for each franchise. The Battlehawks will look to continue to build continuity between their quarterback Luis Perez and the rest of their offense, while the Renegades will look to end their losing streak of six consecutive games after starting the season 3-0.

What to Watch for: St. Louis Battlehawks
St. Louis will use week 10, as another attempt to build offensive continuity. The team has sputtered at times, turning to veteran Luis Perez and with the signing of his favorite target Sal Cannella the team will use their final regular season matchup as a way to fine tune some of the issues that has plagued them throughout the season. The Battlehawks also have some "bragging rights" for two players in Hakeem Butler, and Jarveon Howard who both sit atop of the UFL leaderboards in receiving and rushing yards. Howard is in striking distance of Jacob Saylors franchise record of 499, with Butler 94 yards away from breaking his UFL/franchise record for receiving yards.
Defensively, the Battlehawks unit has been one of the best in the UFL under Corey Chamblin. The ranks in top two of all major defensive categories in the UFL despite dealing with a plethora of injuries in the secondary. Look for the front seven to continue to take advantage of a banged up, and ineffective Renegades offensive line, to provide some relief of the back end for St. Louis.
What to Watch for: Dallas Renegades
This will be the final opportunity for many of the Renegades players to showcase not only do they deserve a chance in the NFL, but possibly the UFL for the 2027 season. For that reason, look for Dallas to open the playbook in order to give their players the best chances to showcase their opportunities.
Offensively, I would expect both Austin Reed and Luke Lehnen to both earn reps for the final matchup of the season with both players future riding on their final performance. Lehnen, will have to continue to prove as under scouted prospect he deserves an opportunity in spring football to hopefully compete for a job in 2027, while Reed is looking for another NFL opportunity after six weeks of mixed results. Other, offensive standouts include Ellis Merriweather, Seth Green, Drake Stoops, and Tyler Vaughns all also lobbying for NFL opportunites.
Defensively its much of the same. Who is going to put together one final high-level performance that could "spring" them into NFL training camp. LB Matt Jones, Shaun Wade, Qwynnterrio Cole, Domenique Davis, and Tra Fluellen have all put together fine seasons with the possibility of earning another opportunity.
One player to watch as well is Wide Receiver Greg Ward who may be participating in his final professional season, if he doesn't receive another NFL opportunity this fall. Ward has been in professional football since 2017 carving out a nice career with the Eagles that was buoyed by his time in the AAF with the San Antonio Commanders. He spent 2025 with the San Antonio Brahmas, before joining the Renegades even making a cameo at quarterback during the year. 2026, marks his 10th season as professional since coming out of the University of Houston.
Renegades-Battlehawks Prediction
The Battlehawks will be their biggest enemy in week 10, if they can't find a competent gameplan against the former team of QB Luis Perez. As we've seen the last two weeks, Perez was flustered when going up against the former defensive coordinator of Dallas/Arlington Marvin Sanders who spent three seasons with Perez prior to his Battlehawks stint. If history tells us anything, Perez will be up for a similar challenge this week.
For Dallas, the question will be can the offensive line give QB Austin Reed/Luke Lehnen enough time to take advantage of a resting/injured Battlehawks secondary. A good pass rush can negate, an average secondary, and the St. Louis leads the league with 27.0 sacks coming into the final week of the season. Overall, the Renegades have found more ways to lose this season than anyone expected which I believe gives St. Louis the edge.
Battlehawks 19, Renegades 14
