1. (last week: 1) QB Jack Plummer, Storm
Last Week: 21-27 (77.8%), 275 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT; 4 carries, -4 yards, -1.0 avg.
Season: 182-274 (66.4%), 1,985 yards, 15 TD, 1 INT; 27 carries, 170 yards (6.3 avg.), 2 TD
Another week of multiple touchdown passes for Plummer, who all but solidified an MVP victory. D.C.'s defense was expected to provide a challenge to Plummer, but instead, receivers were running open all over the field. When he faced pressure, Plummer was able to navigate the pocket with aplomb to buy himself time to continue scanning for somewhere to throw. All the more impressive is that Plummer has put up these numbers without much of a run game to lean on, meaning defenses are often keying on the pass. It remains to be seen how much Plummer plays in Week 10; it could depend on Orlando's hold on the number one seed.
2. (2) QB Jordan Ta'amu, Defenders
Last Week: Did Not Play (injured - on I.R.)
Season: 109-177 (61.6%), 1,515 yards, 14 TD, 9 INT; 46 rushes, 196 yards (4.3 avg.)
Had Plummer and the Storm faltered against D.C. last week, there could've still been an argument to go with Ta'amu as the MVP. And maybe Spencer Sanders's performance spotlighted just how impressive - and necessary - Ta'amu was to his team this year. However, Plummer's stat line and Ta'amu's inactivity means he's not going to rise from the number two spot in the final week. If nothing else, Ta'amu showed he still has something left in the tank and the Defenders will likely welcome him back next season if he chooses to return.
3. (4) DE Cam Gill, Kings
Last Week: 2 tackles (2 solo), 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss
Season: 38 tackles (23 solo, 15 assists), 10.0 sacks, 12.0 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery
This is the second week in a row Gill has climbed the MVP ladder, finding himself now in third place. He's a clear front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year and should be a part of the MVP conversation. He accumulated his ninth and tenth sacks of the season this past weekend, setting a new UFL single-season sack record in the process. He's three sacks ahead of second place heading into Week 10. His pass rush can be credited, in part, for why Louisville has been able to take the ball away so often in the second half of the year. Gill is also at the top of the list of those likely to get a look by NFL teams next month.
4. (3) QB Austin Reed, Renegades
Last Week: 7-21 (33.3%), 101 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT; 3 carries, 6 yards (2.0 avg.)
Season: 159-283 (56.2%), 1,761 yards, 18 TD, 9 INT; 23 carries, 94 yards (4.1 avg.)
Once again, Reed's candidacy is alive thanks in part to his touchdown passes - even with the ugly stat line of last week, Reed still managed to throw for two TDs, and he now has three more in that category than second place in the league. To be fair to Reed, his receivers let him down a few times against Louisville last week. Now that Dallas is out of playoff contention, Reed may cede some playing time to Luke Lehnen in Week 10, as he did in Week Nine.
5. (NR) WR Chris Rowland, Storm
Last Week: 8 receptions, 117 yards (14.6 avg.), 1 TD
Season: 49 receptions, 483 yards (9.9 avg.), 4 TD
I considered several players for this spot including Defenders RB Deon Jackson, Stallions WR Jaydon Mickens, and Storm WR Elijah Badger. Rowland's ability to create mismatches in the pass game and his league-leading 49 receptions gave him the slight edge for me as he makes his first appearance on this list in 2026. Rowland torched his old team on Friday night, including a 62-yard touchdown catch-and-run. Plummer and Rowland seem to have increased their chemistry as the year has gone along and are hitting their stride just in time for the playoffs.
Dropped out: (5) WR Jaydon Mickens, Stallions
