11. Jalen Morton Columbus Aviators
0/0 0yds 0 TD 0 INT 1 rush 15 yds 1 TD
Week Seven Ranking: #11
Morton finally reached the endzone in week seven after weeks of "gadget plays" the previous weeks of the season. Morton had several plays in certain packages for Columbus, and continues gain experience in the UFL compared to his first several seasons. While we haven't seen extended action from Morton he's making the case for a week 10 cameo once Columbus is out of the playoff hunt.
10. Luke Lehnen Dallas Renegades
0/1 0yds 6 rush 32yds 0 TD
Week Seven Ranking: #10
Lehnen has proven himself as a viable option in the Renegades offense especially with Austin Reed nursing injuries. Lehnen brings a different dynamic with his legs in Dallas, and should continue to see his role expand moving forward. The division-III star continues to build his resume with his recent output becoming a fan favorite in the UFL.
9. John Rhys Plumlee Houston Gamblers
1/3 49yds 1 TD 0 INT 2 rush 12yds 0 TD
Week Seven Ranking: N/A
In a limited showing Plumlee was fun to watch making Storm defenders miss in an effort to "spark" the Gamblers offense. Plumlee managed to use his mobility to "make things happen" leading to a 49 yard Jalen White touchdown. Plumlee has a lot of the tools be a successful spring football quarterback, however, with his ties to NFL teams he may be a quick bounce back to an NFL squad due to his ability to play wide receiver and quarterback.
8. Austin Reed Dallas Renegades
25/37 166yds 0 TD 0 INT 2 rush 10yds 0 TD
Week Seven Ranking: #6
It's realistically the same story since week three for Austin Reed. The team struggles due to breakdowns in their pass protection as well as the defenses taking away Tyler Vaughns. Reed is dealing with injuries and statistically remains one of the UFL's best quarterbacks however, he needs to find a way to get back in his "groove" if he looks to extend his NFL career, along with his Renegades playoff chances.
7. Jalan McClendon Columbus Aviators
20/28 153yds 2 TD 1 INT 4 rush 28yds 0 TD
Week Seven Ranking: #4
Another week and the same story for McClendon. Not much to say about McClendon at this point in the season/career. McClendon utilizes his decent athleticism, however with the inability to push the ball down the field often leaves too many plays on the field. McClendon, as I've stated in weeks past has proven he's a competent quarterback, however, should be regulated to a QB2 role moving forward.
6. Hunter Dekkers Houston Gamblers
24/41 268yds 0 TD 1 INT 4 rush 17yds 1 TD
Week Seven Ranking: N/A
It wasn't a bad showing from Dekkers aside from a brutal pick-six that would be the difference in their week seven loss, however the Gamblers have something cooking with Dekkers at the helm. The steady lefty has plenty of ability and could have saved Houston's season if healthy the whole year. It's unknown if Dekkers has done enough to find his way back into the NFL, but if he does choose the UFL in 2027, the Gamblers have a cornerstone that should make the team a highly effective franchise moving forward.
5. Luis Perez St. Louis Battlehawks
16/30 204yds 1 TD 1 INT 3 rush -1yds 1 TD
Week Seven Ranking: N/A
Perez was back in the fold throwing for over 200 yards, enroute to a dominating win over the Columbus Aviators. The performance was what we've expected over the past several years as Perez has continued to be one of the guiding forces in spring football since 2020. Perez put together an exceptional effort despite only practicing less than five times with the Battlehawks offense. With another week of work under his belt, the "spring king", should have plenty of improvement during the St. Louis playoff run. Also, it's worth noting that Perez joined Ta'amu as the second modern spring quarterback to throw for over 10,000 passing yards.
4. Jordan Ta’amu D.C. Defenders
18/33 353yds 2 TD 2 INT 4 rush 11yds 0 TD
Week Seven Ranking: #1
After several dominating performances, Ta'amu regressed in the second half of the Defenders loss to the Louisville Kings. Ta'amu put a masterclass performance during the first half, however exceptional ball control by the Kings in the second half took D.C. out of their grove a bit. While it's by no means time to panic in D.C., the Defenders did take a step back that could strengthen their hold as the #1 team in the UFL.
3. Dorian Thompson-Robinson Birmingham Stallions
12/26 159yds 2 TD 1 INT 1 rush 4yds 0TD
Week Seven Ranking: #2
It took a bit for DTR to get rolling but it's clear that with all the weapons in Birmingham that the UCLA is the guy for the UFLs most successful franchise. While it was a slow start, DTR pushed the Stallions to victory including to two clutch moments in overtime. Since the trade, the Stallions now are in the UFL's 4th playoff position in hopes of winning their 4th title in five seasons. If DTR isn't able to secure an NFL contract, look for him to be an MVP candidate in 2027.
2. Chandler Rogers Louisveille Kings
17/26 201yds 2 TD 0 INT 3 rush 11yds 0 TD
Week Seven Ranking: #7
Rogers bounced back rather nicely after a lackluster effort in week six, that currently has the Kings in contention for a playoff run. The well-traveled signal caller has plenty of ability that has Louisville's offense looking way more effective than the Jason Bean led team with three weeks remaining in the season. The spark he's provided for the Kings is unmatched and is allowing the UFL's most up and coming fan base something to look forward to come late May, /early June.
1. Jack Plummer Orlando Storm
14/24 152yds 2 TD 0 INT 1 rush -1yds
Week Seven Ranking: #3
Plummer continues to play at a consistent level which is what brings him a number one ranking in week seven. Plummer did a good job of playing within the system, continuing to spread the ball to his skill players, enroute to the Storm's 5th win of the year. Plummer currently sits second in the UFL with 1,473 passing yards and 12:1 TD to INT ratio.
