2026 IFL Broadcast Awards Announced

The voices behind the action helped make the biggest moments of the 2026 IFL season even more memorable, with five broadcasters standing out for their work in the booth and on the sidelines.

The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the winners of its 2026 Broadcast Awards, recognizing five individuals whose work helped bring the energy, stories and personalities of the IFL to fans throughout the season.

Jason Fitz, Broadcaster of the Year

Fitz brought a strong knowledge of the game, sharp instincts and plenty of personality to IFL broadcasts throughout the 2026 season. His ability to recognize what was developing on the field and explain the significance of the moment gave viewers more than just the play in front of them. At the same time, his quick wit and memorable one-liners brought an entertaining element to the booth and became a signature part of his calls. That combination of football knowledge, preparation and personality earned Fitz 2026 IFL Broadcaster of the Year honors.

Ari Wolfe, Play-by-Play Voice of the Year

With decades of experience calling indoor football, Wolfe brought a deep understanding of the game to every broadcast. His ability to keep pace with the speed of indoor football while providing context, identifying developing storylines and capturing the biggest moments earned him Play-by-Play Voice of the Year honors.

Kurtiss Riggs, Broadcast Analyst of the Year

Few people bring the perspective to an IFL broadcast that Riggs can. A former quarterback and championship-winning head coach, Riggs used his extensive experience in the indoor game to give viewers insight into the decisions, adjustments and strategy unfolding on the field. His ability to translate that knowledge for the audience earned him Broadcast Analyst of the Year.

Caroline Fenton, Sideline Reporter of the Year

Fenton gave viewers a perspective that could only come from being at field level. From gathering information as games developed to interviewing players and coaches in the moment, she helped bring the emotion and atmosphere inside the arena into the broadcast. Her ability to add context without taking away from the action earned her Sideline Reporter of the Year honors.

Joey Bonadonna, Young Broadcaster of the Year

Bonadonna showed throughout the 2026 season that experience isn't the only thing that creates a strong broadcast. He brought preparation, confidence and a genuine knowledge of the IFL to the booth, calling the game with an understanding well beyond simply following the action. His ability to tell the stories of the players and teams while keeping up with the fast pace of indoor football made him a standout among the league's young broadcasters and earned him Young Broadcaster of the Year honors.

Every great game has a story, and throughout the 2026 season, these five broadcasters helped tell the IFL's. From unforgettable calls and expert analysis to the moments captured from the sidelines, their work helped elevate the league's broadcasts and bring fans closer to the game.
